I got these blue light blocking glasses about a year ago and I wear them in the evenings when using my laptop or phone or watching TV. I don’t wear them in the day time as it’s important to get as much natural light as one can. I wear them because blue light can affect melatonin, a sleep hormone. Some people experience bad quality sleep due to poor melatonin levels and report much better sleep after using blue light blocking glasses. Personally, I didn’t experience this prior to getting my glasses, however, I was keen on keeping my melatonin levels healthy as melatonin is also a powerful antioxidant which keeps our cells healthy.
